Maple Pistachio Salmon With Angel Hair Pasta
SERVES: 2-4
PREP TIME: 30 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
  • Golden Farms Hearts Of Palm Angel Hair Cuts Pouch

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 3/4 cup natural maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 scallions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup + 2 tablespoons pistachios, divided
DIRECTIONS:
  • In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, honey, soy sauce, garlic, scallions and black pepper.
  • Pour half the sauce over salmon and let marinate for at least an hour, up to overnight.
  • Place the oven on the broil setting.
  • Place salmon into a pan, broil for 9 minutes, basting every 3 minutes.
  • After 9 minutes sprinkle 2 tablespoons of pistachios over the salmon.
  • Turn the oven off and let the salmon sit in the hot oven for 5 minutes. Remove salmon from the oven.
  • In a small saucepan, bring remaining sauce to a boil.
  • Pour sauce and 1/3 cup of pistachios over the cooked pasta.
  • Serve salmon over a bed of pasta.
